Medieval EnchantementMedieval Enchantement

Every year the magic of Christmas takes over the Château de Chillon, which for the occasion is transformed into a medieval town with storytellers, musicians and craftspeople from another era.

Children and adults alike will be transported into a magical world thanks to stilt walkers, jugglers and other performers of the Compagnie Makadam! The storytellers will take their fireside places to tell their tales, while the “Les Pieds Gauches” performers [literally “left feet performers”] will give demonstrations of medieval music and invite visitors to dance with them! And, for an additional immersion in the magical atmosphere, children can have face-painting done at the make-up stand!

Culinary arts of the era will also be featured: appetites will be satisfied by food roasted on a spit, as in days of yore.

We therefore recommend that visitors come by train to the Montreux Railway Station and then take the bus towards Villeneuve to the “Chillon” bus stop (or directly by train to the station of Veytaux/Chillon).

Take advantage of the SBB offer – a 30% discount on the train trip!
